Every DataXplorer™ model includes the full capabilities of the base Generation 2 platform. Each variant—such as DataXplorer Protect or DataXplorer Survey—features specialized integrations tailored to specific mission needs. The DataXplorer™ USV has a maximum payload capacity of 110 lbs (50 kg), allowing for flexible integration of mission-specific sensors and equipment.

DataXplorer™ USVs are equipped with a patented self-righting rollbar system that uses passive buoyancy to return the vessel upright if overturned. This ensures reliable performance and mission continuity, even in rough sea conditions.

DataXplorer™ USVs are designed for easy deployment and recovery. They can be transported in the bed of a pickup truck and launched from a boat ramp or shoreline by a team of just 1–2 people. For offshore missions, we also offer a launch and recovery system (LARS) for deployment from larger vessels.

The DataXplorer™ USVs can reach a top speed of 6 knots, with a typical cruising speed of 2–4 knots depending on mission requirements and sea conditions.
