About the event

Open Ocean Robotics is pleased to attend the Ocean Sciences Meeting 2026, taking place February 22 to 27. The Ocean Sciences Meeting is one of the leading international academic conferences for oceanography, bringing together researchers, scientists, and technologists focused on advancing understanding of the ocean through observation, data, and innovation. Representing Open Ocean Robotics at this year’s conference will be CTO Dr. Fritz Stahr, who will be engaging with members of the global ocean science community throughout the week.

At OSM 2026, we will be highlighting how our DataXplorer™ uncrewed surface vehicles support high quality, long duration environmental monitoring in support of academic and applied research. This includes MRV for marine carbon dioxide removal, eDNA collection for biodiversity assessment, and hydrographic surveying in coastal and offshore environments. Our solar powered USVs enable persistent data collection with zero emissions, minimal acoustic impact, and no crew risk, helping researchers expand spatial and…
