Case Studies

Seagrass
Mapping

In a deployment off Victoria, BC, DataXplorer Survey autonomously mapped ~42.3 hectares of eelgrass beds in just two hours using a high-resolution 3D sidescan sonar payload. The solar-powered USV followed precision waypoints, transmitted real-time data to shore-based pilots, and demonstrated its capability for non-invasive, efficient surveys of sensitive marine ecosystems.
