About the event
Open Ocean Robotics is excited to attend the Canadian Coast Guard Day Open House on May 30 in Victoria, British Columbia. This family friendly public event celebrates the important role of the Canadian Coast Guard while giving the community an opportunity to explore marine technology, safety, and innovation on the waterfront. As a Victoria based marine robotics company, Open Ocean Robotics is proud to participate and help showcase the growing ocean technology community here on the West Coast.
Our Ocean Services team will be on site throughout the event, including Marine Operations Lead Madie Bouvier-Brown and USV Operations Technician Jake Cushway, who will be available to answer questions and speak with attendees about our work in sustainable ocean monitoring and autonomous marine operations. Visitors can stop by our booth between 10am and 3pm to see a DataXplorer™ uncrewed surface vehicle up close and learn how our solar powered technology supports…
