About the event
Open Ocean Robotics is pleased to participate in the Maritime Arctic Conference 2026: Future of Arctic Shipping, taking place May 13 to 15 in Victoria, British Columbia. This conference brings together maritime leaders, regulators, engineers, and researchers to examine the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of Arctic shipping and operations. Representing Open Ocean Robotics will be CTO Dr. Fritz Stahr, who will be speaking on the role of uncrewed surface vehicles in supporting safe, sustainable, and data driven Arctic operations.
From persistent environmental monitoring and route reconnaissance to situational awareness and operational support, our solar powered USVs enable long duration missions without emissions or crew exposure. Dr. Stahr will also discuss emerging technology coming out of Open Ocean Robotics and how autonomous systems can support Arctic stakeholders as activity in polar regions continues to increase. Look out on our socials for more information about Dr. Stahr's presentation.
