UN Ocean Conference 2025 – Ocean Startups Pavilion
Jun 2, 2025
Open Ocean Robotics has been selected for the Ocean Startups Pavilion at the third UN Ocean Conference in Nice, France. CEO Julie Angus will be on site to highlight our solar-powered uncrewed surface vessels and discuss how real-time ocean intelligence can advance global sustainability missions.
The 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference, co-hosted by France and Costa Rica, gathers government leaders, investors, scientists, and innovators to accelerate action on Sustainable Development Goal 14. Inside the Green Zone’s Ocean Startups Pavilion, Open Ocean Robotics will showcase its DataXplorer class of solar-powered uncrewed surface vessels within the “Improving Ocean Intelligence” focus area. With more than 100 000 participants expected, the pavilion offers unrivalled visibility and engagement with funders, accelerators, multilateral development banks, and global media.
Throughout the two-week conference CEO Julie Angus will meet delegates, demonstrate how persistent autonomous platforms deliver maritime surveillance and real-time environmental data, and explore collaboration opportunities that reduce operational carbon footprints.
