Sept 17, 2020

Open Ocean Robotics has secured funding from the National Research Council's Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP) to support the development of innovative ocean technologies through the BC Fast Pilot Program.

Open Ocean Robotics is proud to announce that we have been awarded funding through the National Research Council's Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP) as part of the BC Fast Pilot Program. This funding will enable us to accelerate the development of our autonomous uncrewed surface vehicles (USVs), which are designed to enhance ocean data collection and environmental monitoring.

The BC Fast Pilot Program aims to support innovative businesses in British Columbia by providing financial assistance for projects that contribute to technological advancements and economic growth. With this funding, Open Ocean Robotics will continue to develop cutting-edge solutions that promote sustainable practices in marine environments, helping to protect our oceans for future generations.
